Absolute transparency, you pay only an hourly rate (if it is a local move) and driving time. The only extra fees we apply in case you have an oversize or very heavy item (piano, gun safe, pool table etc.), or if hoisting is required.

It’s up to you to decide. Typically, our customers hire 2 movers for a small move like 1bd or small 2bd (no stairs, no elevator, short walking distance), 3 movers for 2bd with stairs/elevator/long walk. For a 3bd+ depends on the amount of items but 3-4 movers is the recommended minimum for such move. Again this is just to give you an idea, but it’s up to you to decide based on what you know about the details of your move.

All items of extraordinary value are expected to be moved by the customer. Our Moving Agreement limits our liability for moving and safe keeping of such items. So it’s best to move valuable items yourself.

Due to the current situation every crew has a set of masks, gloves and hand sanitizer that are used every time they perform the job if conditions are safe for that.

Tips are not included into the hourly rate, it is totally up to the customer’s judgement, all the money goes directly to the movers.

With every move we do provide Free Basic Protection as required by moving industry regulations. But as you may already know, since it’s a free insurance option, it provides minimal coverage ($0.60 per pound per article). For additional levels of protection, our customers do have the option to pay for Full Value Protection or to go through a third party insurance (google moving insurance).
